There have been many Ghostbusters sequels that never came to fruition, but what were some of the iterations of Paul Feig's Answer the Call that didn't materialize? This week, Troy and Chris explore what could have been through the unveiling of new blue sky concept art. All that plus the latest news including Playmobil's latest Ghostbusters II offerings that include Playmogram 3D technology, IDW's Crossing Over and Annual on the horizon, updates from the Ghostbusters of North Carolina, sad news about the passing of a fellow fan from the Dallas Fort Worth Ghostbusters, and Troy absolutely gushes about A Futile and Stupid Gesture now available on Netflix.

In addition, we've added some outtakes and archival audio, making this a holiday mix tape of sorts, all about the voice of Egon, stunt burper, master impressionist, and the best Orsen Welles since Orsen Welles.

#345 - "Jailhouse Rock" - November 20, 2017
Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs. And Ghostbusters is one of the most recognized (which should come as no surprise to our listeners). Stay with Troy and Chris for the week as they chat about TMNT/GB Issue #3 (no spoilers), Blitzway's announcement about pricing plans for their 1/6 scale Ghostbusters figures, and remembering the Universal Ghostbusters Spooktacular on the anniversary of its final performance. Could a stage show like it exist in this cynical age? Or is a game-based ride the only way that Ghostbusters can exist in a theme park. We're also announcing the Loot Crate winner at the end of the show. And... so, uh, which one of our listeners is currently incarcerated at the Hall County Jail?

But first, a few news items that the two knobs weren't able to get to last week including some broad non-spoiler chat about TMNT/Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters making Cinefex Magazine's top monster movie list, and a strange article about an Ecto-1 for sale across the pond. Then, in the second half of the show, Chris and Troy talk about all the Ghostbusters references (and if indeed those patches were available for sale in 1984), the show in general, and what the future may hold for Season Three.
#343 - "Proton Packs and Ghostbusters High" - November 6, 2017
This week on the show, Chris and Troy focus on two discussion topics: Aykroyd's comments on Ghostbusters in high school for Netflix and Anovos announcing a new high-end pack replica. Both announcements elicited equally similar responses, and both aspects of the response are discussed this week on the show. Has Akyroyd lost his mind, or are his outlandish ideas responsible for the property we know and love? Is Anovos in the wrong for announcing a pack replica right on the heels of shipping another kit, or is this something totally different? Tune in for the discussion.

Over the course of the hour, we talk Atari's early days, designing games for the 2600, and in-depth on the Ghostbusters title. Join us, won't you?
#336 - "Ghostbusters: A Movie About Nothing" - September 18, 2017
Listen to this, Jerry - it's a movie about nothing. No really. We'll explore Patrick Willems' video that posits Ghostbusters was a film essentially about nothing. What did he mean by that, and can we offer a rebuttal? Find out this week. Also on the show: the Ghostbusters Ectomobile Owner's Workshop Manual gets a preview, the Ghostbusters of North Carolina get some screentime, Ghostbusters pinball is coming to your consoles, and could a proton pack be effective against Pennywise? (Due to technical difficulties, Troy sounds like he's broadcasting from a submarine somewhere off the coast of California. Apologies.)
#335 - "The Proton Slinger" - September 11, 2017
This week on the show, we're recapping DragonCon and PKE Surge 2017, talking about Extreme Ghostbusters on its 20th Anniversary, and more! First up, remembering Extreme Ghostbusters - how has it already been that long? And why hasn't it gotten a proper home video release? Then the numbers are in and PKE Surge at DragonCon was a huge success! Want to talk t-shirts? 80's Tees has a whole bunch of new ones PLUS that long-teased Crossrip shirt is closer than you may think. There's a lot going on in the world right now, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires... we hope we can take your mind off it all for an hour. If you haven't already donate to the Red Cross: http://www.redcross.org
